A ONE PLANET warranty is carried on all products in our range. This covers against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of:
Ten years* for WATERLOC® canvas rucksacks;
Five years* on all other products (except footwear, zips and Dyneema® fabrics);
One year* on footwear, Dyneema® composite fabric, all zips and zip sliders.
* Warranty period begins from the date of purchase.
We proudly use high-quality materials and are confident our products will exceed your expectations. However, it would be remiss not to mention a couple of points.
The adhesives and coatings used in all materials are in a state of decomposition from the day they are made. The speed of this is outside our control.The environment in which a product is used and stored and how it is cared for will affect the workable life of both the fabric and the product.We use brand-name zips throughout our range, which come with a manufacturers’ warranty of one year. We can replace and repair zips throughout the life of your product. (Reasonable costs may apply.)
We have confidence in the longevity of our products. All manufacturers warranties cover manufacturing faults and do not cover general wear and tear on your product. If a product has failed due to improper care, abrasive wear, accidental damage, misuse, reasonable wear and tear, or the breakdown of materials and components, we are happy to repair or service the product (reasonable costs apply). In all ONE PLANET warranty cases, we always prefer to repair than replace.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
How to make a Warranty Claim
For a warranty claim to be assessed the product must be returned to the ONE PLANET factory. A proof of purchase, and a completed copy of our returns form is required. Please ensure all goods are returned both dry and clean, ONE PLANET will not accept dirty or damp goods.
The cost of returning a product for warranty evaluation will be the responsibility of the purchaser. ONE PLANET will not be held responsible for items missing in transit. When returning your goods, we suggest using a mail service that allows tracking.
