For versatility on the road, the Longreach and Tasman rucksacks have detachable daypacks. These are attached to the main body of the pack using large YKK zips, giving added security. A 180 degree zip in the shape of an inverted U is used to secure daypacks to the main body of the pack, making the attachment easy to use and durable.

When zipped to the main pack, the daypack functions as a large front pocket, giving easy access to its contents. Once removed from the main pack, the daypack can expand to its stated capacity. (Of course, it will not zip back on when it’s fully loaded.)

The daypack can also be clipped to the front of the main harness as shown, giving extra security in crowds and allowing you to be ‘hands free’. The height of the daypack may then be adjusted for comfort and ease of access – ask your One Planet dealer to demonstrate this unique feature.
