If you like to be able to organise your pack, then dual compartments and access are for you. They are found on most One Planet Travel and Adventure packs as well as several tramping packs.

In addition to the standard top access, a large base zip (pictured) gives access to the bottom of the pack. Inside, a divider separates the load. Many bushwalkers use the bottom compartment to keep their sleeping bag readily accessible, alternatively, use the bottom to keep a wet and dirty clothes separated.
